These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of the website and purchase of products offered under The Casaphile by Solanki Handicrafts.

1. General

Welcome to The Casaphile by Solanki Handicrafts. By accessing this website, browsing products, placing an order, or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

The Casaphile is a brand by Solanki Handicrafts. These Terms govern your use of our website, product information, services, and purchases made through the brand.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the website or place an order.

2. Business Identity

For the purpose of these Terms, references to “The Casaphile,” “we,” “our,” or “us” refer to The Casaphile by Solanki Handicrafts.

3. Product Information & Representation

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, images, dimensions, finishes, and other details are presented as accurately as possible. However, customers should understand that furniture made with natural materials and handcrafted processes may show slight differences.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • variation in wood grain
  • variation in texture
  • knots and natural markings
  • slight differences in shade or finish tone
  • minor handcrafted variation
  • slight variation between on-screen display and real-life appearance

These variations are natural and should not automatically be treated as defects.

Product dimensions may also have minor tolerance due to manufacturing and measurement conditions.

4. Pricing & Payment

All orders placed through The Casaphile are currently accepted on a prepaid basis only.

We currently support online payment methods such as:

  • cards
  • UPI
  • net banking

Cash on Delivery (COD) is not available.

Prices are subject to change without prior notice. While we aim to ensure pricing accuracy, any obvious pricing error may be corrected, and we reserve the right to cancel an order in case of such an error, even after an order has been placed.

5. Order Acceptance

An order shall be considered confirmed only after:

  • successful payment, and
  • acceptance of the order by The Casaphile

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order at our discretion in situations including, but not limited to:

  • pricing errors
  • product unavailability
  • serviceability issues
  • suspected misuse or fraudulent activity
  • operational limitations

6. Customization Terms

Customization requests are subject to product feasibility, design suitability, and approval by the brand.

Where customization is accepted, customers should understand that:

  • customization availability may vary by product
  • changes may not be possible once production starts
  • cancellation may not be possible once production starts
  • customized products may not be eligible for return

Any custom or made-to-order modification may affect timeline, finish outcome, and return eligibility.

7. Delivery Terms

We currently operate with delivery availability that may vary by product and location.

Any delivery timeline shared on the website, in communication, or during order discussion is indicative only and may vary based on:

  • product type
  • product availability
  • customization scope
  • delivery location
  • logistics and transport conditions
  • operational factors

We do not guarantee fixed delivery timelines unless explicitly stated in writing.

8. Assembly & Installation

Assembly requirements may vary by product.

Depending on the product, furniture may:

  • require no assembly
  • support self-assembly
  • require local carpenter assembly

At present, installation support is not currently provided by The Casaphile unless explicitly stated otherwise for a specific product or order.

Customers are responsible for reviewing product-level assembly information wherever applicable.

9. Delivery Inspection & Damage Reporting

Customers are expected to inspect the product and packaging at or soon after delivery.

If a product is received with visible transit-related damage or major issue, the customer must report it to us within 24 hours of delivery and provide relevant photo and/or video proof.

Where a damage claim is raised, customers may be required to retain the original packaging until the case is reviewed.

Claims reported after the stated reporting window may not be accepted, as delayed reporting makes verification difficult.

10. Transit Damage Support

Transit damage support is provided subject to review.

Where valid transit-related damage is reported within 24 hours of delivery along with sufficient proof, we may provide replacement support, depending on the case.

Damage handling remains subject to review, verification, and product-specific feasibility.

11. Returns

We currently offer a 7-day return window on eligible products only.

Return eligibility may be denied in situations including, but not limited to:

  • customized or made-to-order products
  • used products
  • products damaged after delivery due to mishandling
  • products not reported within the applicable review or return window
  • products that do not meet return condition requirements

Approval of any return request remains subject to eligibility review.

12. Cancellations

For standard orders, cancellation is allowed only before dispatch unless otherwise agreed.

For customized or made-to-order orders, cancellation is allowed only before production starts.

Once production has started, cancellation may not be possible due to material allocation, production activity, and order-specific planning already underway.

Any approved cancellation remains subject to the stage of the order and applicable review.

13. Warranty

We currently provide a 3-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects and structural defects, subject to review and applicability.

This warranty is limited in scope and does not mean unconditional coverage for all types of issues or product behavior.

14. Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

  • normal wear and tear
  • natural variation in wood, grain, texture, or finish
  • stains
  • misuse
  • improper handling
  • moisture-related damage
  • prolonged sunlight-related damage
  • damage caused during or after third-party assembly
  • damage caused by external movement, relocation, or misuse after delivery

Whether a claim qualifies as a manufacturing or structural defect will be determined upon review.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the liability of The Casaphile by Solanki Handicrafts arising out of any order, product, service, or website use shall be limited to the value of the relevant product or order.

We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage arising from the use of our products, delay in delivery, third-party handling, misuse, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

16. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including but not limited to:

  • brand name
  • logo
  • product images
  • text
  • graphics
  • page design
  • website copy

is the property of The Casaphile by Solanki Handicrafts, unless otherwise stated.

No part of this website may be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, or used without prior written permission.

17. Right to Update Terms

We reserve the right to update, modify, or replace these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.

The latest version published on the website shall apply from the date of publication unless stated otherwise.

Customers are encouraged to review these Terms periodically.

18. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, the website, products, or services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Jodhpur, Rajasthan.

For product-specific clarification, support, or order-related concerns, customers are encouraged to contact us before placing an order where needed.

We believe it is better to clarify expectations early so the buying experience remains more informed and transparent.
